A carpeted cat tree is rarely the look you wanted for the living room, so your cat ends up on the bed, the sofa arm or the bookshelf instead, and the scratching goes on wherever it can.
This condo looks like a modern end table. It stands next to the sofa or the bed, holds a lamp or a book on top, and gives your cat two cozy levels underneath, plus places to scratch that are not your furniture.
The square top tray has a 2 in (5 cm) rim: use it as a table top, or lay in the scratching pad or a plush mat for your cat. Below it, two enclosed levels with large rounded openings, offset left and right, each take a removable white faux-fur mat, one for a nap and one for hiding. The supplier sizes the condo for up to three small to medium cats.
A beige scratching mat sticks to the side panel for vertical scratching, and a spring ball toy comes with the condo. Non-slip pads sit under the base corners.

Your cat gets three levels stacked in a 13 in square: the open top tray to lounge on, then two enclosed levels whose rounded doorways face opposite sides. Each level takes a soft white faux-fur mat, so there is always a warm place to curl up.
For claws, lay the scratching pad in the top tray or use the scratching mat on the side panel. The spring ball toy bounces for a quick game on the floor.
Place it beside a sofa or a bed and the top holds a lamp, a book or a cup while your cat sleeps underneath. The wood-grain finish comes in Rustic Brown or Natural Wood, and anti-slip pads under the base help it stay put on the floor.
Cleaning is quick: wipe the panels with a cloth, and take the faux-fur mats out to wash them by hand or in the machine. The side scratcher peels off if you no longer need it.
The condo is built from high-density particleboard with a wood-grain finish, and the mats are white imitation fur. The supplier gives a weight of 16.1 lb (7.3 kg) and says it can host three small or medium-sized cats.
The box includes the panels, the plush mats, the scratching pad, the side scratching mat, the spring ball toy, a tool pack and instructions; the parts screw together in a few minutes. Returns are accepted within 14 days for unused items.
