A small dog that spends time in the yard needs a corner of its own: somewhere out of the midday sun and off the wet grass, where it can curl up between games. A blanket on the patio gets soaked or blown away, and a wooden kennel needs sanding and repainting every few seasons.
This plastic house gives your dog that spot. The pitched roof covers the whole room, the floor sits on a raised base above the lawn, and there is no wood to stain or repaint.
The front gable has one arched doorway with no door or flap, so your dog can come and go as it likes, over a short ribbed threshold. Above the doorway, a paw-print vent lets air through under the roof peak, and the roof itself is made of two ribbed panels.
The house comes as separate panels and goes together in three steps: the walls fit together, they sit on the base, and the roof goes on top. It is sized for small dogs; compare the outside dimensions with your dog before choosing it.
