Plastic dog playpen with 23.6 in (60 cm) tall blow-molded panels and a built-in door, sold as a 6-panel or 4-panel set, in white or black.
A new puppy, a dog you cannot leave loose while you cook or work, a corner of the yard where you want it to stay put: closed doors and baby gates only go so far.
This playpen gives your dog an enclosure of its own wherever you set it up. The panels join into a hexagon with 6 panels or a square with 4, and come apart again for storage.
Each panel measures 35 × 23.6 in (89 × 60 cm) and is only 0.78 in (2 cm) thick, with vertical bars 1.57 in (4 cm) apart. Light gray snap-lock joints link the panels at the corners. One panel has a small arched door, 17.7 × 18.5 in (45 × 47 cm), closed by a sliding lock, so your dog walks in and out without being lifted.
Indoors, two suction cups under each panel grip smooth floors. Outdoors, ground pegs go into grass or soil: 7 come with the 6-panel set and 5 with the 4-panel set. The pen is rated for pets up to 44 lb (20 kg) and is meant for temporary outdoor use, since long exposure outside can wear the plastic.

With the 6-panel set, your dog gets a hexagon about 70 × 61 in (178 × 155 cm) across: room for a bed, a water bowl and a few toys, with floor left over to move around. The panels stand 23.6 in (60 cm) tall, and the bars are set 1.57 in (4 cm) apart.
One panel has a built-in arched door, 17.7 × 18.5 in (45 × 47 cm), so your dog steps in and out on its own instead of being lifted over the top. Slide the lock across when the door needs to stay shut.
Put the pen next to the kitchen while you cook, in the living room while you work, or on the lawn for an afternoon. On hardwood or tile, each panel holds with two suction cups; on grass, push the ground pegs into the soil, and bring the pen back inside when you are done.
For storage, unsnap the joints and stack the panels: each one is only 0.78 in (2 cm) thick, so the set takes little room in a closet or the trunk of a car. White or black, pick the color that suits your floor and furniture.
